So, my latest piece is a wee bust from Ammon that I picked up at the World Expo. He's quite a caricature, and while painting him it was pointed out that he looked both racist and violent. "Well," I thought to myself, "he'd make quite the West Ham supporter." (Apologies to those West Ham supporters here who are neither racist nor violent, but the shirt colours really worked well, too.)

I've also had a little fun with the decoration, so he has Alex's eye makeup from Clockwork Orange, and a charming tattoo to go with the gash over his throat.

Good job there Fet, the lighting is very effective on him and is plenty interesting enough. I'm not so sold on the hair as it's somewhere between badly shaved and not smooth glazing but I can't decide which. Having said that you've done a great job on this bruiser.

I picked one up from Stresa too as he's quite different, as you can see I like the sculpt too!

    Cheers, chaps!

@John: I understand the hair, and it's sort of a combination of the two. I was aiming for the patchy sort of shave you see on people with a few scars/pock marks. It's still the weakest part of the model, though, so I might go in and add some actual scars or a bit of colour variation.

Looking good there Fet!!! Got a lot of character. I agree on the hair though - it's the one thing that stands out a bit on the model at the moment.

I've stood next to a few "fans" that had a more than passing resemblance to him... :bruised

Looks great, Fet. One question re: base-that just a tempoarary bluetac solution before final installation?

Nice one Fet - the skin looks great, and the 'cut here' tattoo is a really nice touch :)

    P&P bit done too

@Mark: Yep - couldn't find my clippers to cut a pin... I'll probably also sand down the plinth a touch before painting it matte black.
